Salisbury Crag May 2004
The image you see to the right is Salisbury Crag, a large plateu found on the city outskirts of Edinburgh. In Scotland, similiar to the Inuit of the north who have many names for snow, so do the Scottish for Crags. Crag climbing, more like a stiff hike is a popular and must do activity when visiting Edinburgh. On a day best described a scene from Lord of the Rings, my sister and I went crag climbing, I will post several of the pictures taking during this adventure featuring the exploits of the "A train" and "El Sach O" tackling this monumental task. Indians on the high range, fighting off the Scottish Elderly for the perfect shot of the City of Edinburgh below. This picture was taken in the late spring of May 2004.
